The Zoom Gear for Sony E 55-210 mm F4.5-6.3 OSS Lens allows access to manual zoom function in underwater housings. It mounts onto the lens's zoom ring and controls it via the housing's zoom dial. Fits Sea Frogs housings with 80 mount.
How It Works:
- Engages the Lens — The zoom gear, typically a ridged or toothed ring, wraps around the zoom ring of the lens.
- Interfaces with Housing Controls — The housing has a mechanical control (dial wheel) that meshes with the zoom gear.
- Allows Zooming — By turning the external housing control, the gear rotates the lens's zoom ring, adjusting the focal length.
